The Atkins Diet is a very famous diet and loved by people who like meat. Although many people find it easy to follow, the diet has many secondary effects.
The diet is hyper-proteic; that means many proteins and very few carbohydrates. You are allowed to eat as much cheese, meat, eggs you can but you are forbidden to even taste potatoes, sugar, bread and things that contain carbohydrates.
This is a fast diet with fast results if you compare it with a normal diet but it also has secondary effects and involves a lot of chemical changes in your body. The whole diet is based on a so-called ketosis phase. Reaching this phase, you lose a lot of weight because of the lack of carbohydrates; when the body receives a small amount of carbohydrates it starts burning fat to maintain its energy levels.
Because this diet lacks fibers a lot of affections can appear like: constipation, diarrhea, digestive problems, colon cancer, etc.; because of the large quantity of cholesterol you eat during the diet heard diseases and high blood pressure will easily occur.

Beach Diet
South beach diet is similar to Atkins
diet; it contains three phases and the first is the same as
the Atkins diet. The other two phases consist in eating
progressively vegetables, fruits and things that contain
carbohydrates. The disadvantage is that after following the
diet and losing weight you will start gaining it back if you
are not extremely careful with what you
eat.
The
Zone Diet
The
Zone diet is a relatively balanced diet; it is based on a
daily nutrition that contains 30% proteins, 30 % fats and 40 %
carbohydrates. This nutrition plan ameliorates the hunger
sensation and balances the insulin levels. Weight loss is
moderated so the diet is not so extreme but it is no
recommended to children and professional sport
players.
