The frightening
part
Living in
America, you cant help but notice that lots of women thin or
heavy do not like what they see in the mirror and will go any
lengths to be movie-star thin, sadly beginning at a young age.
Shockingly enough statistics show that 1 in 3 ten-year-old
girls and 75% of adolescent girls are eating less than they
should in order to slim down. Nearly half of adult women that
have a healthy weight also are trying to achieve a slimmer
waistline. Many woman dream of a day that they will be worry
free when it comes to their weight. Many of us end up yo-yo
dieting, constantly losing weight and gaining it back again
trying to fight this un-ending battle of weight loss. We get
that crushing feeling that there is no light at the end of the
tunnel. This lack of confidence in yourself will only make you
heavier.
The Aftermath
In the long run, continuing to diet while you are in good
shape can hurt your health and well-being. In order to stay
healthy, we need to meet the needs of our daily nutrients. So
trying to take in a maximum of 1500 calories a day isn’t going
to cut it. The simple things like drinking milk to keep your
bones strong will help you avoid health risks. We should try
to eat more foods such as whole wheat products, fruits and or
vegetables so we wont miss out on certain components that are
beneficial to our health.
